2. Sign Up
You will be asked whether you want to join Paintcollar as an Artist or as a Customer.
Select “As An Artist”.
Select “YouTube Channel”.

Fill up the details, check the box agreeing to terms and conditions and click Sign up. Your store will be available at paintcollar.com/username so choose this carefully.
3. Activate Your Account
After you see this message, head over to your registered email and open up the activation email we send you. The subject line will be “Please Activate Your Paintcollar Account”. Click the “Activate your account” link or copy paste the URL given in your browser.
4. Complete Your Profile
Welcome to the Paintcollar Dashboard! This is where you can manage your account, keep a track of sales and access the help section.
The details you enter here will reflect on your storefront. Make sure you add a profile picture which will help your customers identify you. Your phone number is required so that our team can reach you for support and suggestions.
Social Media Links
Connect your social media accounts to your Paintcollar store.
Here’s where you enter your payment details so that we can transfer your payments to you every month.
If you do not have designs of your own, you can purchase them from a Paintcollar certified artist for a cost of Rs 3,000 per design. You will have to give us a design brief and submit your enquiry. Someone from our team will get in touch with you to connect you to the designer.
5. The Creation Engine
This is the tool you will use to upload designs and render them into product images. These products will then go live on your store. Have a look at this short video that explains the entire process.
Once you get started, here is an example of what your storefront will look like –
Every product has a Base Price which covers Paintcollar’s cost of manufacturing, packaging and delivering the product to your customer. Over this you add your own profit margin. The final Retail Price = Base Price + Your Margin + Taxes.
7. Product Fulfillment
When a customer places an order for your product, Paintcollar custom prints it and delivers it while you get notified by email. Your Sales History, which can be found in the Dashboard, is also updated. For orders online transaction, you are notified immediately while for Cash On Delivery orders, you are notified after the product has been delivered and the customer has paid for it.
Once a month, Paintcollar transfers your profits into your account according to the information you entered in the Payment Details section of the Dashboard.
8. Reaching Out To Your Fans
The best way for you to tell your fans about your merchandise and maximise sales is regularly feature it prominently in your videos. Remember to speak about your merchandise at the end of your video and clearly tell people where they can find it. To do this you can order your own products. Apparels typically take 7-8 days to reach you while other products will take 4-5 days. Keep this in mind and order your products well before the day of your scheduled video shoot. You will essentially be buying them at base price since the profit margin will come back to you.
